The Challenge
The bank’s floors were extremely busy, and cash handling relied on manual transport within branches. This caused inefficiencies, increased handling time, and accelerated deterioration of cash (cotton polymer notes) due to frequent physical handling. The project brief required innovating intra-branch operations at the State Bank of Pakistan to improve speed, security, and cash preservation.
Our Solution
We developed a pneumatic tube-based system for intra-branch cash transport to reduce manual handling, maintain cash quality, and improve operational efficiency. I conducted research, prepared the implementation plan, and calculated projected savings and efficiency gains, demonstrating measurable benefits to the bank.
